Commission forms National Championship in Skokie, Illinois

(Skokie, Ill. – Aug. 1, 2008) The World Whiffleball Commission and the Skokie Park District announced today the formation of the National Whiffleball Championship in Skokie, Illinois. The two will organize the National Whiffleball Championship to be held in the Summer of 2009, and will kickoff the commission’s newest whiffleball endeavor on Sept. 20, 2008, when it hosts the Chicagoland Whiffleball Championship.

Both tournaments will lead up to the World Whiffleball Championship in Mishawaka in July 2009. To enter either Skokie event, click here. q
